One Vision Society is honored to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, under its Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI). This landmark collaboration reflects our joint vision of building a prosperous Pakistan through education, social responsibility, and faith-driven service.
Purpose of the Partnership
The MoU was signed by Dr. Asghar Zaidi (Provost, UMT) and Pastor Shakeel Din (Founder and Executive Director, One Vision Society), alongside representatives from both institutions, including Peter Bashir (General Secretary, One Vision Society) and Mr. Ali Mukhtar (Head OPA, UMT).
Together, UMT and One Vision Society will:
- Promote social entrepreneurship among students.
- Encourage quality education and training focused on community uplift.
- Strengthen social integration, harmony, and values-based development.
- Create opportunities for internships, volunteer work, and research projects.
- Collaborate on awareness programs related to health, hygiene, social welfare, and sustainable development.
Areas of Cooperation
As outlined in the MoU, this partnership will:
- Provide UMT students with internships and volunteer opportunities (minimum 80 hours).
- Appoint One Vision Society Ambassadors from within the UMT student body to lead awareness campaigns and social projects.
- Arrange interactive sessions between students, faculty, and One Vision Society staff.
- Facilitate joint research and publications on social, economic, and political issues.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and community initiatives to bridge academic knowledge with field realities.

Both institutions are committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
