A month ago, we knelt together in prayer over a bold vision: to launch a Christian Sewing Center that would empower marginalized women in Lahore with skills, dignity, and the love of Jesus. Today, with tears of gratitude and awe, we testify: God has moved mountains! Thanks to your sacrificial giving and prayers, our center isn’t just a dream—it’s a vibrant reality where 20 women are stitching new futures, one seam at a time.
🌟 Why This Ministry Was Born
In the streets of Lahore, countless women silently battle despair. They’re widows, single mothers, or daughters trapped in poverty—bearing the weight of providing for families with no tools or hope. Many have never held a Bible or heard that God calls them “chosen and dearly loved” (Colossians 3:12).
Pastor Shakeel Din, our Executive Director, recalls the moment God planted this vision:
“I met a mother of four scavenging through trash for food. She whispered, ‘If only I could sew, I’d feed my babies.’ That night, Isaiah 61:1 burned in my spirit: ‘He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted… to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes.’”
This center is God’s answer—a place where practical skill meets eternal purpose.

- 9:00 AM: Students gather around 20 humming sewing machines (your donations at work!). Under patient teachers’ guidance, they master stitches, measure fabric, and pattern-cut for salwar kameez, children’s wear, and boutique dresses.
- 10:30 AM: Tables overflow with vibrant fabrics as they practice embroidery—transforming plain cloth into art with zari, mirror work, and thread painting.
✝️ Afternoon: Hearts Renewed
- 1:00 PM: Bibles open over shared meals. Women who once hid in shame now share prayers aloud: “Allah, thank you for giving me worth.”
- 2:00 PM: Business training begins—learning to price products, market on WhatsApp groups, and manage small savings. One student, Fatima, beams: “I’ll sell dresses from home! My children won’t sleep hungry.”
🌿 Evening: Hope Carried Home
- 4:00 PM: Each woman leaves with fabric for homework—and a Scripture promise tucked in her bag. Last week, Ayesha (name changed) whispered: “For the first time, my husband respected me when I showed him the dress I made.”
